Towards Ubiquitous Intelligent Computing: Heterogeneous Distributed Deep Neural Networks

For the pursuit of ubiquitous computing, distributed computing systems containing cloud, edge devices, and Internet-of-Things devices are highly demanded. However, existing frameworks do not tailor for fast development Deep Neural Network (DNN), which is key technique behind many intelligent applications nowadays. Based on prior exploration deep neural networks (DDNN), we propose Heterogeneous Distributed (HDDNN) over hierarchy, targeting at computing. While being able to support basic functionalities DNNs, our framework optimized various types heterogeneity, including heterogeneous nodes, networks, system tasks. Besides, features parallel privacy protection robustness, with other consideration combination DNN. Extensive experiments demonstrate that capable utilizing hierarchical better DNN tailoring real-world properly, low response time, high performance, user experience.
